Raindrop Bones

Chasing the

Raindrops

Feel them soaking

My hoodie

They haven’t stopped

Coming down

It would be nice

If it weren’t so

Cold

It gets into my bones

A quiet dull ache

But the rest is

Serene

Encompassing

I go back inside

Shaking droplets out

Of my hair

Watch it pour from a dry place
