They say sticks and stones

Break bones

But I drew stars on my fighting hand.

It is

Easier said than done

To be brave.

However

I don’t need to be brave

I need to be fearless.

Tell them off for their 

Disrespect.

They deserve it at this point.

Show them who’s in charge.

I fly my flags 

In the dead of night

And at dawn

They are still standing.

And so am I.

Unstoppable.

A force of nature behind the scenes.

Fearless.

I run to feel the wind on my face

Not because I’m scared.

Ineffable.

Never not meant to be.
