Boarding A Train Home

There will come a day

Where I will still be

No one

But in a, passing faces on

The steep and bustling street

Way, all each human

All each to their own

Because we all have our place

And on that day I

Will be boarding a train

Coat too heavy for my destination

Messenger bag weighing a shoulder

Forlorn in a bittersweet fashion

Step off the platform

Watch the world go by

Without me

And there will be a day

Where I will come home
