Show Me The World

For all intents and

Purposes

I am but a lowly

Wanderer

Sand-dusted ankles

Oversized hoodie

Sit in my car for hours

Waiting on the sunset

All the city lights come on

Soon after

The stars peek

Through the clouds

I wish you were here

Wanderers are often without

Companions and

You know so much of

Wandering

Show me the world from

A plane window

Houses grid-like and small

I would have your world from

The window of your car

The balcony of a suite

Somewhere beautiful

No matter what we both say

About being bad

Company come nightfall I

Would rather travel with you

And damn the complications
