Gleams

Steep some tea

The rain is more

Misty drizzle than droplets

Sort all your change into

Pretty stacks

Shining and uniform

Watch the sun

Arc it’s way over the

Scattered clouds

Soak it in

Who knows when it will be back

Make a new ring and

Bracelet

Cut the old cloth ones into

Strange squares and scatter

Them like confetti

The rain clears

For now

Remember you were steeping tea

Long oversteeped now

Make a new cup

Sip

Fall asleep thinking

About how metal shines in the sunlight

How it warms in minutes and

Gleams

A silver mirror without

A glass to look through
