The Solstice

I pray to those gods who see fit to love me today

Please do not leave me behind

Please help me remember

Please lead me further down the road of balance and growth

Let it be clear when I have stumbled

Catch me if I fall

Keep me and mine safe from the cursed and the destroying

This I ask and am grateful

Know that I pray in every graceful step and breath

Every awestruck glance at stars

Every sleepless night

Every kind hand and word

Know that I try to be good

Tell me that it is enough
