I’m Not Tired, I’m Doing Just Fine

Not that you ever asked but

I’m doing just fine

I’ll ask about your problems

Listen to you rant and ponder and babble

It’s totally cool that it’s about you

Not like things didn’t happen to me

Not like I’m not tired

At least I have someone to trade with

When we are tired we say so

Ask for each other’s pains

Take turns saying them

But most situations I find

Have always been rather one-sided

Maybe one day

It will not be so
